18-year-old

Umm, I wish I could have an 18 year old orphan girl.

My friend Turbo was in the area a couple weeks ago working on a wine cellar for a TV show. They needed extra help so I helped out for a couple days. Of course there was no filming the days I was there. You can see Turbo using a nailgun for a couple seconds in the show. It was funny, he lived at the house for two weeks and became an unofficial member of the family. The Chippendales were nice but they had way too much money. Why a TV show decided to “rescue” multi-millionaires from the horrors of wanting a free wine cellar makeover is beyond me. One day Dave Chippendale was washing one of his classic cars in the driveway. (after he washed his Mercedes which was next to his BMW) It was a beautiful car. A bright red, 1973 Jaguar convertable. He told me how he went to a car show one day with no plans of buying anything and came home with it. Buying a classic car on a whim. An impulse buy. It must be nice.

Becca, Luke and I went to the unveiling party. They had great catered food and opened bottle after bottle of seriously tasty wine. Pricey shit. Silverado, Stag’s Leap and some Mondavi Reserve Cab’s. Good stuff. I was giving Becca shit about drinking whites while there was awesome reds to try out. The best part of the experience, besides getting paid pretty well for relatively easy work and spending time with a good friend who lives far away, was I got to take their old wine racks! The ones you see in the beginning, in the “before” shots. I got those shits in my house! Now all I need is 200 bottles of wine to fill it up. And I could use a wine cellar too. Open House, come rescue me! Or am I not rich enough?

For some reason there is no embedding code on part 2. Here is the link.
